We’re a tech training initiative founded with the mission to diversify the tech sector. We equip people with the most up-to-date and relevant skill sets to get creative, passionate people into the tech industry, regardless of their background. We also work closely with charity and CSR partners to provide training and employment opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, all while contributing to a move diverse, thriving tech industry.

After huge success in the UK and Australia, we received private equity funding in 2021 which has enabled us to launch our first _nology office in the US! We’ve partnered with Insight Global, a large US recruitment specialist, to ensure great roles at renowned organisations are ready and waiting for our candidates.

So where do you come in?

We’re looking for Technical Instructors to support our work across the US and help us get more people into tech. With full training and support leading up to the autonomy to run your own courses, this role is built for someone who’s passionate about tech and understands the importance of our diversity and social mobility commitments.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Your main focus in this role will be becoming an amazing mentor to our students (or ‘_nologists’), shaping how we educate tech talent and disrupting the industry for a better future. You’ll act as a technical mentor, a social mentor, and a career mentor, holistically improving the people who come through every course to help them achieve their career goals. You’ll lead coding sessions, help students understand core development practices, and design new teaching methods and curriculums.

You’ll support our students in delivering real-world client projects, as well as building out internal _nology products that will help us continue to provide best-in-class outcomes for our people and our clients.

We’re seeking coaches who, above all else, are excited by the industry and want to inspire others.
